National Recording Artist Justin Garner to Perform National Anthem at 52nd Annual Bayou Classic
NEW ORLEANS – The Bayou Classic is proud to announce that Louisiana native and internationally acclaimed R&B artist Justin Garner will perform the National Anthem at this year’s highly anticipated football showdown between the Southern University Jaguars and Grambling State University Tigers. The 52nd Annual Bayou Classic, Presented by Procter & Gamble, will take place Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Caesars Superdome.
National recording artist Garner, who hails from Plaquemine, La., has built a global fan base through his electrifying live performances, soulful voice, and powerful storytelling. He has performed the National Anthem at major sporting events for the NFL, NBA, and MLB, including appearances for the New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs, Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, and San Francisco Giants.
Recently recognized as an Artist on the Rise by Amazon Music: AMP, Garner has topped iTunes R&B/Soul charts in multiple countries and earned coveted placements on Spotify’s New Music Friday and Apple Music’s New in R&B playlists. His original music has been featured on NBC’s Grand Crew, MTV’s Teen Mom OG, and Paramount+’s The Game, while his festival appearances include sharing the stage with legends like Janet Jackson, Nicki Minaj, and New Edition at the ESSENCE Festival of Culture.
