The question everyone’s been asking: Did I make it to the next round of GRAMMY voting? The answer’s finally here, and it comes with some big news.
Everyone's been asking, “Justin, did you make it to the second round of GRAMMY voting?”
Years ago, I never would’ve imagined even hearing that question. The idea of even being in contention is surreal. It shows how far this journey has come, from Plaquemine to moments like this where my music is even being considered.
So here’s the deal: I didn’t make it to the next round... this time.
But you know what? That’s still incredible. To even be in GRAMMY consideration, standing alongside artists I’ve admired my whole life is a blessing. And to do it all while being independent makes it even more meaningful. If I’m already here now, can you imagine what’s ahead? For me. For us.
Every step of this reminds me that God has me exactly where He wants me. Growing, creating, staying true to myself and preparing me for what’s next.
And speaking of next…
I’m taking this opportunity to officially reveal that my new single “HOT LIGHT” drops November 21, 2025. Just in time, and ahead of my big National Anthem performance at the 52nd Annual Bayou Classic, live from the Caesars Superdome.
This song marks the beginning of something bigger, the first of many drops planned for 2026.

National Recording Artist Justin Garner to Perform National Anthem at 52nd Annual Bayou Classic
NEW ORLEANS – The Bayou Classic is proud to announce that Louisiana native and internationally acclaimed R&B artist Justin Garner will perform the National Anthem at this year’s highly anticipated football showdown between the Southern University Jaguars and Grambling State University Tigers. The 52nd Annual Bayou Classic, Presented by Procter & Gamble, will take place Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the Caesars Superdome.
National recording artist Garner, who hails from Plaquemine, La., has built a global fan base through his electrifying live performances, soulful voice, and powerful storytelling. He has performed the National Anthem at major sporting events for the NFL, NBA, and MLB, including appearances for the New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs, Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs, and San Francisco Giants.
Recently recognized as an Artist on the Rise by Amazon Music: AMP, Garner has topped iTunes R&B/Soul charts in multiple countries and earned coveted placements on Spotify’s New Music Friday and Apple Music’s New in R&B playlists. Louisiana Native Justin Garner to Perform National Anthem at Chiefs Game December 21
(December 2, 2024) – Louisiana native and acclaimed singer-songwriter Justin Garner will perform the National Anthem live at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on December 21, 2024, as the Kansas City Chiefs face the Houston Texans. Justin Garner Preps New Single, Upcoming Tour Date w/ Chrisette Michele
R&B singer-songwriter Justin Garner is set to release his new single "Risky" on Friday, August 6th on Spotify, Apple Music and all major carriers. Garner teased that the song is his boldest musical offering to date.
"I wanted to make a bold statement. I was tired of staying within the lines and wanted to create something that fit where I am in life. My sound has heavily matured since my younger days and I wanted to convey that with 'Risky', explains Justin.
